On many websites, there is usually an
article on how to choose a dog trainer. Many of these articles say not
to choose a trainer who guarantees their method will work.
I believe quite the opposite. In fact, I put your money where my mouth
is!! If you are not happy with the level of obedience your dog reaches
after 8 weeks of obedience instruction with me, then I will give you
your money back. As long as you have done everything I have instructed
you to do, there is absolutely no reason why your dog won't be
trained.
Most trainers using food as a reward know full well that when a
student stops using food as a reward, their dog will stop obeying
commands. Dr. Ian Dunbar suggests that most owners don't know how to
praise their dogs enough in order to get their dogs to work for them,
therefore, he advocates food as a reward instead of praise. I strongly
disagree with this premise. A well-qualified instructor/trainer can
and SHOULD be able to show their student how to motivate their dog
using many other methods other than food.
In my 39 years of experience, I have trained over 25,000 dogs, and I
know how to motivate your dog to work for you without having to resort
to "bribery". The results speak for themselves, and that is why I am
not afraid to say.
"I GUARANTEE
MY METHOD OF TRAINING WORKS,
OR I WILL GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK!"
